Moss Burger Introduces Remote-Controlled OriHime Robot for Customer Service

The Nikkei reported that the Mos Food Services Group has introduced the remote-controlled OriHime robot for customer service. A pilot operates the robot remotely as it guides visitors at the Moss Burger Harajuku Omotesando store.

At the Moss Burger Harajuku Omotesando store, the remote-controlled OriHime robot provides verbal guidance to visitors. Because much of the food is prepared by hand in the store, which takes time, the robot is used to chat with customers while they wait and help them spend time in the store.
