Agility Robotics Announces Digit 5
Agility Robotics was reported to have announced on Sept. 15 a new humanoid robot, Digit 5, designed to work safely near people.
What happened
According to Agility Robotics, Digit 5 uses multiple sensors and proprietary AI to respond when it detects a person by taking one of three actions: avoiding them, stopping or sitting down. The company said the robot was designed to reduce reliance on physical safety barriers and work alongside people.
