Agility Robotics Names Michael Beer CFO

Agility Robotics announced that it had appointed Michael Beer as CFO. Jennifer Hunter, the current CFO and chief operating officer (COO), will focus solely on her COO role. The company plans to go public through a business combination with Churchill Capital Corp XI.

The appointment is important as Agility Robotics prepares to go public, strengthening and separating its finance function, including capital markets and investor relations, from operations responsible for expanding manufacturing and the supply chain. Humanoid robotics businesses serving warehouses and manufacturing sites need to expand deployments while building production capacity. The company says Beer will focus on financial strategy, while Hunter will focus on expanding production and the supply chain.
