AGIBOT Previews First Overseas Robot Stage Show, Featuring More Than 40 Robots
AGIBOT has previewed its first overseas robot stage show in partnership with Resorts World Genting. More than 40 robots took part in a preview on Aug. 29 at the Genting International Showroom. The full show is scheduled to open in February 2027.
What happened
According to agibot.com, AGIBOT and Resorts World Genting (RWG) announced on Sept. 3, 2026, a preview of their first overseas robot stage show. More than 40 robots took part in a preview on Aug. 29 at the 1,000-seat Genting International Showroom in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. The full show is scheduled to open in February 2027 as part of RWG’s entertainment offerings.
Why it matters
The project goes beyond displaying robots: It is an effort to put more than 40 robots in different roles onstage at a 1,000-seat permanent venue, combining them with a story and music for an audience. For entertainment venue planners, the plan to deploy AGIBOT’s X2, A3 and D1 series in different roles and launch the show as part of the entertainment program from February 2027 provides specific details on the use case and scale of operations.
